About A R Quinton
Alfred Quinton was a well known English artist who specialised in painting
the villages and landscapes of the British Isles. He painted well over
2,000 scenes from all over the UK and many of his paintings were
portrayed in postcards and year calendars. A R Quintons calendars
and postcards are still populat today over 75 years after his death
in 1934.
