St Michael`s Mount is a small island situated off the coast of Cornwall accessed via a causeway at low tide. It`s a popular tourist attraction due to its mediaeval castle and church which date from the 12th century. The buildings are nowadays managed by the National Trust in partnership with the St Aubyn family.
